I personally feel most of the judgments should go the social service way as an award. In most case of medical profession also this should be the way. CSR is now compulsory for corporates and ISR (individual social responsibility) can be promoted using this methodology. MCI ethics regulations 8.2 gives provision for the same to the councils.
MCI Code of ethics
8.2 “ …………………… If the medical practitioner is found to be guilty of committing professional misconduct, the appropriate Medical Council may award such punishment as deemed necessary or may direct the removal altogether or for a specified period, from the register of the name of the delinquent registered practitioner……………………..”
If you are a Vegan, lacyo-ovo vegetarian or lacto vegetarian take B12 supplement
Lacto-ovo vegetarian – Eggs, milk, and milk products (lacto = dairy; ovo = eggs) are included, but no meat is consumed.
Lacto-vegetarian – Milk and milk products are included in the diet, but no eggs or meat are consumed.
Vegan – All animal products, including eggs, milk, and milk products, are excluded from the diet. Some vegans do not use honey and may refrain from using animal products such as leather or wool. They also may avoid foods that are processed or not organically grown.
Vit B 12 is present in many animal-based foods but not in plant-derived foods. Some vitamin B12 may be ingested from soil present on plants or from milk or eggs.
People who consume a vegan or strict vegetarian diet generally should take supplemental vitamin B12 to ensure adequate stores. This is especially important in women who are pregnant or may become pregnant since the developing fetus also requires adequate vitamin B12.
People who consume a vegan diet should be supplemented with vitamin B 12 (at the RDA of 2.4 micrograms/day) if they do not consume other fortified food products (such as cereals).
Lactoovovegetarians and lactovegetarians should also consider supplementation with Vit B 12.
Reasonable options in such patients are to recommend a daily multivitamin.
